Last work before the July 4 break

On today's last flurry of activity before the holiday break, we had plumbers, electricians, flooring installers, and elevator installers all roaming the house. Here the electricians are trying to install the dining room chandelier. As usual, the colors are distorted due to the temporary protective film that covers the windows, giving the pictures a greenish yellow tint.


They were also busy getting the ceiling fans installed. This one still was still missing its light kit when this picture was taken.

Here is a shot taken from the second floor looking down the elevator shaft at one of the installers.

And lastly, installation of the engineered hickory flooring for Cheryl's first floor studio and office continued. They finished this job by the end of the day.
